|In keeping with the truly insane nature of this web site we’ve decided to let everyone’s favourite Scouser, Scouse write the Liverpool match report………
On a day when referee Mark Halsey could of quite easily call the game off due to the tropical storms over Newcastle. He let the game go ahead much to the dismay of the die hard Newcastle fans praying for more rain so Craig Bellamy wouldn't play. They were proved right in the thinking that their once hero would come back to haunt them, after only 5 minuets some great wing play by Pennant pulled the ball back to Bellamy who made no mistake in front of the home fans.I thought great here we go my bet for Liverpool to win 3-0 looks on.
After a few more minuets Liverpool could of been 2 up with Zendon clean through only to see his poor excuse for a chip well saved by Newcastle's stand in keeper Harper.Zendon could of had himself another if he had bothered putting his finishing boots on,I think three months out through injury wasn't long enough some one should do him a favour and send him back to Holland.
Craig Bellamy worked Newcastle's shaky back four again and again in the first half and could also of scored a few more,if fact Liverpool should of been out of sight in the first 20 mins.
I think Pepe Reina must of felt sorry for Obefemi Martins for the lack of service he was getting from his fellow players in black and white so he decided he would help him out. With the ball running away from Martins, Reina showing tremendous composure and smashed the ball at him.It fell perfectly for Martins who slotted home after 35 mins.....Bollocks! there's my bet out of the window and the Newcastle faithful (well Trapper and Jonna ) in my ear singing and shouting.
The mighty Liverpool came back at Newcastle almost immediately through Bellamy who had an effort cleared off the line by Bramble,Bloody typical he's crap against everyone else but I have to admit he played as well as he can today against Bellamy. With half time looming Liverpool again came close with Bellamy hitting the bar........You just knew that it was going to be one of those days.Half time...good lets get some beer!
The half time talk from Glenn Roeder must of been very simple...kick the Scouse ba$tards!!! With Steven Taylor in commanding form at right back and the dirty Manc twad Nicky Butt along side Scott Parker hitting the poof Zenden and Sissoko who has forgotten how to play football since breaking his shoulder. Newcastle were right back in this game. This was proved to me after 70 minuets when John Arne riise allegedly up-ended Steven Taylor...What crap even Drogba would of been proud of that dive. But it was good enough to con Mark Halsey who pointed straight to the spot. The super Peruvian Nobby Solano made no mistake with a coolly struck penalty. That was enough for me with bloody trapper in my ear again.
At least one thing came out of the game.....Now the scousers know what it's like to be robbed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What garbage!! Sour grapes? Sad Scousers outclassed by The Geordie Boys! Not only is Bellamy $hit scared of Shearer, he’ll never even get close to any of Big Al’s goalscoring records! Howay The Lads!
